Bienvenidos a la página de Padres Mentores de Fischer, “Campaña de conciencia al conducir”

Esta iniciativa surge con el fin de supervisar y cuidar a los estudiantes y familias que cruzan en las avenidas Wilson St & Diversey Ave, así como Wilson St & Victory Pkwy durante los horarios de llegada y salida escolar.

Hemos notado que algunos conductores vienen de prisa y dejan a los estudiantes en lugares no seguros. Les recomendamos tomar su tiempo, salir de su casa con anticipación y seguir las indicaciones al conducir.

Empezando el lunes 17 de Abril, y durante todo el mes, Ms. Vargas, Coordinadora de Padres Mentores y nuestros Padres Mentores estarán caminando en la esquina de Wilson St & Diversey Ave (durante la entrada y salida), solo para asegurarse de que está manejando con precaución.  Además, la Oficial Joan Velez, de la Policía de Elmhurst estará supervisando las calles ocasionalmente.

Todo el esfuerzo y energía en esta campaña se pretende continuar durante los meses de Abril y Octubre de cada año escolar.

“Es por su seguridad, es por el buen vecino, es por el bien de TODOS”.

Welcome to the Parent Mentors Fischer website “Driving Awareness Campaign”

This initiative is created in order to supervise and watch our students and families who walk and cross Wilson St & Diversey Ave and Wilson St & Victory Pkwy during school arrival and dismissal times.

We have noticed that some drivers are rushing and dropping students off in unsafe places. We encourage you to take your time, leave home early, and follow directions when driving.

Starting Monday, April 17th, and during the entire month, Ms. Vargas, Parent Mentor Coordinator, and our Parent Mentors will be walking around the corner of Wilson St & Diversey Ave (during arrival and dismissal), to make sure you are driving with caution. In addition, Elmhurst Police Officer Joan Velez occasionally will be watching the streets.

All the efforts in this campaign are intended to continue during the months of April and October of every school year.
