Sybil Siska

My name is Ms. Sybil Siska and I am one of the bilingual ELL educators at Conrad Fischer Elementary School.  I am from Westmont, Illinois and am a graduate of the University of Illinois in Champaign, Urbana.  After graduating with my Master's degree, I taught in Champaign, after which, I then taught English as a Foreign Language in Spain for two years.  I was in the south of Spain, Andalucía, and learned a great deal and am excited to share all I have learned with my students.  

This is going to be another great year and I look forward to working with your children.  Please encourage your children to log into the website and use the flashcards, study materials, and the websites that have games for them to practice their English skills.  I will be updating the website regularly with materials and pictures of student work.  

Me llamo Señorita Sybil Siska y soy una de las maestras de Inglés como segunda lengua en el colegio de Conrad Fischer. Soy de Westmont, Illinois, y me gradué en la Universidad de Illinois en Champaign, Urbana. Después de graduarme en mi Master, enseñé en Champaign durante tres años y, después, fui a enseñar Inglés como segunda lengua en España durante dos años. Viví en el sur de España, Andalucía, y aprendí muchísimo y estoy muy emocionada de compartir todo lo que aprendí con mis alumnos.

Será otro año buenisimo y tengo muchas ganas de trabajar con sus hijos. Les ruego que alienten sus hijos a entrar en las páginas webs y usar los "flashcards" (cartas de práctica), materiales de estudio y las páginas webs que tienen juegos para Inglés) para mejorar. ¡Cuánto más practiquen en casa más éxito van a tener! ¡Estaré actualizando mi página web durante todo el año por lo que les animo a que continúen atentos a los nuevos contenidos!
