I am so excited to begin the 2019-2020 school year at Fischer Elementary. I look forward to seeing some familiar faces and also meeting new ones.
Teaching your child is a tremendous responsibility and i will do my best to ensure that each student has a safe and motivating learning experience in this upcoming year. However i cannot do this without the help of you, the parents. We are partners in the learning process.

Library: All books are checked out for 7 days. Students may check out three new books every Tuesday.
P.E.: Students must wear gym shoes to participate in P.E. We suggest that students keep an extra pair of gym shoes in their lockers.
My name is Mrs. Alicea and I am one of the First Grade Dual Language teachers at Fischer Elementary. I am excited to begin this Dual Language journey with your children and I believe this quote by the psycholinguist Frank Smith embodies the multilingual advantage in our community.
One language sets you in a corridor for life. Two languages open every door along the way.
I enjoy teaching and I enjoy spending time with my family. Pictured above are my three grandchildren Hector, Moses and Liliana.
