Reading: Read 30 minutes every night and record on Progress Report
Students check out one fiction and two informational texts weekly so they should always have something to read. We are working on the 40 book challenge so please check in with your child to make sure they are working to meet the challenge. Record finished books on the weekly progress report in the notes section when they finish a book at home!
There may be occasional writing homework and students are always encouraged to bring their writing home if they are inspired to keep writing and want to write more! Please remind them to bring their writing journals back to school!
