What: Baseball workouts including throwing and hitting. Coaches will be present; it is a great way to showcase your talent before the tryouts.
Who: All students who are interested in trying out for baseball.
When: Tuesday and Friday mornings from January 28th-February 28th. 6:00-7:00 am. Players should be in the York Fieldhouse by 5:45 for set up.
Where: York Fieldhouse. Students can enter through the Athletic Entrance.
Tryouts will begin the week of March 3rd. Times are TBD and will be updated soon. All athletes must be registered ("Registration" link above: must be completed on a laptop, computer, or iPad) and have a sports physical on file to participate. Please remember baseball is a cut sport.
Tentative Plan:
Varsity: Monday-Friday mornings.
JV/Sophomore: Thursday-Saturday after school.
Freshman: Monday-Wednesday after school.
What to bring: Sweat pants or baseball pants. Baseball mitt, bat, gym shoes, baseball hat (required).
